Call for Articles Contribution
The Traju Association invites scholars, legal practitioners, judges, diplomats, policymakers, and researchers to submit abstracts for consideration in the forthcoming special publication: Cambodia and International Law: Historical Foundations, State Practice, and Global Engagement.

1. Abstract Submission
Interested contributors are requested to submit an abstract of approximately 300 words outlining the proposed article’s topic, objectives, methodology, and key arguments.
Abstracts should relate to one of the thematic areas listed in this concept note or to other relevant topics concerning Cambodia’s engagement with International Law.

2. Selection Process
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee based on academic quality, originality, relevance to the book’s objectives, and contribution to Cambodian and international legal scholarship.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be formally notified and invited to submit a full paper.
3. Full Paper Submission
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be required to submit a full paper with the following requirements:
- Length: Approximately 5,000 words (excluding footnotes)
- Language: English or French
- Citation Style: OSCOLA (Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities)
- Referencing: Footnotes must be used for all legal sources and authorities
- Format: To be provided upon acceptance of the abstract
The full paper must present original research and must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
4. Publication Process
Accepted full papers will undergo an editorial and peer-review process. Authors may be requested to revise their submissions in accordance with reviewers’ comments and editorial standards. Final accepted papers will be included in the Traju Special Book Publication and disseminated to academic institutions, government bodies, international organizations, and legal professionals.
5. Important Dates
- Submission of the article’s title and draft abstract: 1 March 2026
- Approval of the proposed article’s topic: 31 May 2026
- First submission of the article’s draft: 31 August 2026
- Final submission of the article: 30 November 2026
